The Duke of Edinburgh 1921 – 2021
It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
His Royal Highness passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle.
Further announcements will made in due course.
The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.

On-Line Book of Condolence:
People wishing to leave a message will be asked to give their name, email address and location alongside their words. On the Royal Family's website, they explain that a "selection of messages" will be passed onto members of the family. They add that the message may also be held in the Royal Archives "for posterity".
During the current public health situation, Books of Condolence will not be available for the public to sign. Therefore, members of the public wishing to express their condolences are encouraged to send a message to the Royal Family via the online Book of Condolence at https://www.royal.uk/condolence

CORONAVIRUS - VOLUNTEER DATABASE:
Magor with Undy Community Council is working with Monmouthshire County Council to set up a database of volunteers during the Coronavirus pandemic.
If you are able to volunteer in any way, we would appreciate you emailing us with your Contact Details: Name, telephone number and the street/road where you live and the kind of volunteering you are able to give etc.

When you contact us, the information you provide (personal information such as name, address, email address, phone number, organisation) will be processed and stored to enable us to contact you and respond to you. Your personal information will only be shared with Monmouthshire County Council or other partners in connection with volunteering during the current Coronavirus emergency.
