The Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021 introduced provisions for multi-location meetings for local authorities, including Community councils. This is covered by section 47 of the Act. The Act states that a local authority must make and publish arrangements to ensure that local authority meetings are able to be held so that; - - persons who are not in the same place can attend meetings, and - these persons can speak to and be heard by each other.
Full Council meetings are held on the second Monday of each month (except August) at available venues in the community and in accordance with the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021 regarding Multi-location meetings.
At these meetings, Council transact business on the meeting agenda which is published on the Town Council website and displayed in Council noticeboards three working days prior to the day on which the meeting is convened.
Persons may attend at the meeting venue in person or they may join the meeting remotely via Zoom Meetings. Persons who wish to join remotely will require the meeting link and passcode which will be provided upon request by email to designated email account: mutcmeetings@office.magorundy.org.uk
a) By 1300 hours on the last working day (Monday to Friday) prior to Ordinary Meetings. (scheduled for 7pm on the second Monday of the month).
b) By 1300 hours on the working day (Monday to Friday) prior to an Extraordinary Meeting or Annual Meeting.
c) In extraordinary circumstances, the provisions under 4.2 may, at the discretion of the Town Clerk, be waived and the Zoom Meeting link shall be published on the Council Meetings page under additional documents for that meeting.
Please note that the meeting link and passcode are not to be shared with any other person(s) as only those persons who have been provided with the link by email from mutcmeetings@office.magorundy.org.uk will be admitted by the meeting host.
Meetings can and may be recorded by the Clerk for the purpose of preparation of the meeting minutes. The recording of meetings by others is subject to the provisions of the Council Standing Orders at 3.3(l)

The Town Council also hold various ad hoc Committee and Working Group meetings. Any public documents referred to in agendas and minutes of meetings are available from the Town Council Office on request or may already be uploaded to this site. Please note that whilst the Town Council would wish to be open and transparent in matters concerned with the public, the Minutes of Admin & Personnel Committee meetings previously held cannot be published in the public domain, as the contents of the documents are considered exempt from disclosure as they contain information relating to particular individuals as described in para (12) of part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, which could be prejudicial. Also the information contained is of a very sensitive nature and the disclosure of such information could also breach the obligations the Council has under General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).X

The minutes of meetings uploaded to the website are draft until presented to Council at the next available meeting where they are adopted as read or adopted subject to amendment for accuracy.
