SUMMER PLANTING

Magor with Undy Town Council
The Town Council is seeking quotes for Summer planting in the many planters and containers across the community. The intent is to provide an attractive display for the whole of the summer period.
1. To clean off (clear off old plants, debris, weeds etc) all Council planters (as listed below) – (debris to be disposed of responsibly)
2. To supply additional compost to top up planters (details/volumes to be supplied) by contractor with quote.
3. To supply and plant up with suitable plants by June 2024. Plants should include a suitable mix of pollinator friendly plants and where possible consideration should be given to edible plants also.
4. To top up self-watering planters with water.
5. To ‘water in’ all plants twice a week for first two weeks
6. To provide a cost for checking and watering all planters beyond the initial two weeks on a weekly basis to including weeding, and deadheading as and when required.
7. The Council has a number of volunteers who tend certain planters and the successful contractor will be required to work collaboratively and sympathetically with our valued volunteers.
All quotes must include a breakdown of costs.
A map of all planter locations can be provided on request.

Deadline for tender submissions Thursday 06th March at 4pm.
The successful contractor will need to supply copy of their Public Liability Insurance.
