Remembrance Sunday

The service for Remembrance Sunday 2023 to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts, shall be held at the cenotaph, Magor Square.
Following the commemoration service in the Square there shall be further services at St Mary’s Church and Magor Baptist Church.

Armistice Day – Saturday 11th November 2023
Reverend Jeremy Harris and members of the Royal British Legion will be attending at the Cenotaph, Magor Square, to observe a two- minute silence as part of Armistice Day, in memory of those who lost their lives fighting for their country.
There are no traffic restrictions on this date but it is respectfully requested that residents and users of Magor Square give consideration to this short service.
