Town Council Elections

Magor with Undy Town Council members were recently reduced to eight Councillors following the resignations of the member for Undy ward and Magor (East) ward. In accordance with the democratic procedures Monmouthshire County Council issued Notices of Vacancy in respect of both wards and received the required written responses requesting an election to fill those vacant seats on the Town Council.

In accordance with directives from Monmouthshire CC the 'Notices of Election' were displayed in the Notice Boards in the affected wards. These notices detailed that nomination papers required to be served upon the Returning Officer no later than 4pm on 27th October 2023.
