Service Level Agreement

Residents and visitors to Magor Square this week may have observed two persons in high vis clothing conducting some weed and debris clearance work to the paved areas. These persons have been employed via a Service Level Agreement between Magor with Undy Town Council and Monmouthshire County Council.

 

             They form part of Monmouthshire County Councils Severnside Team and the two officers are assigned to work in the Magor and Undy Communities attending to an ongoing level of maintenance and improvements that shall include:

Manual Street cleaning,

Litter picking – black spots, reactive to requests, complaints etc. Daily litter bin emptying,

      Events support (signage, setting out stalls, barriers etc),            

      Horticultural works including maintenance of newly planted areas, greenspace maintenance,

      Graffiti removal/covering,

      Repairs, cleaning and decoration to street/park furniture and fencing – benches, bins, bollards, signs etc.

      Deep clean of the town centre area,

      Manual removal of weed growth,

      Cleaning alleyways.

 

      They shall be working in the communities each week attending to those works as listed and reactively to any matters which are identified to the team by Town Council Clerk.
