On 15 May 2021 the Royal British Legion marked its centenary with a special event at the Cenotaph in London, recreating the moment 100 years ago when the British Legion was formed. Similarly, we in Magor and Undy Community marked the occasion, with the local RBL laying a wreath at 9am on the morning of the 15th May at the War Memorial in Magor Square. The wreath was laid by Peter Wilson, with Cllr Julie Wilson, Chair of the Caldicot Branch of the RBL saying the
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them." "We will remember them.", with the Canon Rev Jeremy Harris say closing prayers.
