Common-y-coed Plantation
Published: 11 May 2021
Council were saddened to find that someone had taken time to re-plant some obviously unwanted non-native trees and shrubs (probably from their garden) at the Council’s Plantation at Common-y-coed. Whilst the Council commend that person/s for recycling the trees/shrub it would have been courteous to seek confirmation that it was in order to do so.
The Plantation is managed to ensure that only native trees and plants are allowed to colonise, providing an ideal habitat for pollinators, birds, bats, mammals and visiting wildlife.
