Celebrate Christmas at Monmouthshire’s community hubs and libraries

28th November 2018

Monmouthshire’s community hubs and libraries have organised an array of festive events sure to appeal to a wide range of people in the approach to Christmas.

Chepstow Community Hub will host a free evening of Christmas celebration at 7pm on Wednesday 19th December featuring the Chepstow Singing Group with seasonal readings.  The following day, a Christmas-themed rhyme time will be held at 2.15pm and on Friday 21st December under-fives can enjoy a seasonal story with Father Christmas from 10.15am.  The hub is also running a Christmas tree-folding workshop and a fund-raising morning in collaboration with mental health charity Mind from 10am to 12noon on 12th December.

A similar event takes place at Caldicot Community Hub from 12:30pm to 2:30pm on Thursday 13th December.  The hub has also arranged two story and craft events for four to eight year olds on the themes of Christmas (Monday 24th December) and winter (Wednesday 2nd January).  Both will be held from 10am to 11am.
