Cllr Paul Jordan, Cabinet Member for Community Hubs said:

‘The Summer Reading Challenge is a fantastic initiative by the Reading Agency. I am sure many parents and schools welcome an incentive to pick up a book during the school holidays. It is pleasing to see so many free activities taking place in all of our Community Hubs to encourage children, young people and their families to visit. The school holidays can lead to boredom, but I am sure the vast range of activities will alleviate this for our youngsters.’
